I finally took some time from playing outside with my little peanut to come in and do some much needed sewing. Yesterday, I made this cute little dress for my peanut to wear and I think it turned out adorable. I didn't use a pattern I just used a dress that my little peanut already had to trace out the size and Ta DA~ A cute, simple, carefree sundress!
Today I'm linking up with these blog parties. Have a great day!

We've gone banana's ~ Birthday invitations
This year for our little peanuts 4Th birthday we did a monkey theme! It was so much fun putting together all the little details for her party. I had so much fun making her invitations! I went to the local Michael's Craft store and purchased some card stock and monkey stickers. I already had a brown stamp pad and markers. Using my decorative scissors I cut the edges of the lime green card stock and then using my brown stamp pad I inked the edges. Next,I used scrap booking tape and attached the lime green card stock to the bright blue card stock to give it a framed look. Then using the computer I printed out all the important information. Finally, my peanut and I added the monkey stickers and drew the vine with a green marker. There you have it a simple, fun, and I think very cute invitation to her monkey party!
I think our final count was 28 invitations made!!

Just a little something & maybe an etsy shop soon!
I've been having so much fun making all kinds of hair accessories. I just started selling a few at a local salon and I'm thinking about selling my hair flairs and some of my crafts through etsy. This however, totally scares me, what if I don't sale anything. I love the blog by Little Miss Momma about the sleepless nights that she went through when deciding to start her own little etsy shop. Click here. I think I'm ready to do it but then again we'll see! For now I'll share with all of you a few that I have made!

Twin bed becomes an outdoor bench!
Well I have been trying to get back into the blogging scene and I haven't been doing well. Don't get me wrong I love blogging but I have been busy working on many projects, playing with my peanut, and enjoying my summer. Unfortunately, by the end of the day I am too tired to blog but I'm trying to blog early in the morning so we'll see how it goes!!
Here is a little project that I finally completed. This was an old twin bed frame that now has a new purpose, an adorable outdoor bench!! I used the headboard for the back of the bench and then cut the foot board in half to use as the two sides of the bench. I added a little plywood and some old wood scraps to make the seat frame, a little fresh paint job and there you go a beautiful new bench.
I think it looks great on our back screened in porch!

Fashion Wednesday!
OK so I have been really bad at blogging lately and I'm so sorry, please bare with me!! I thought that once summer was here I would be able to blog like crazy however, that has not been the case. Between trips to the park, play dates, swim lessons, Dino camp, and just having fun I haven't blogged much but that is about to change. As of today I'm getting back on track and what a better way to start than with fashion Wednesday!!
I love linking up with Momma Go Round, The Pleated Poppy, & No Model Lady for fashion Wednesdays! Of course with all the triple digit temperatures that we have been having I have spent at lot of time in my swimsuit but I do manage to get dressed in real clothes every now and then!

Happy Birthday Peanut!!
Its hard to believe that it has been 4 years ago that God blessed me with the most precious gift, a baby girl. Today my little peanut is 4, I can't believe how quickly time has passed. I can still remember hearing her first cry, giving her her first bath, listening to her first giggle, and many more firsts. She is no long a baby but a beautiful, spunky, smart, loving, caring little girl and I treasure each and every moment I have with her! I'm looking forward to watching her continue to grow however I wish at times there was a pause button!!

Philly Cheesesteak Burger~ Tasty Tuesday
This is one of my husband favorite burgers and I must admit I like it too!
What You Need:
1 1/2 pounds ground sirloin
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 large sweet onion
1 sweet red pepper, seeded and sliced
1/2 pound button mushrooms, sliced
12 thin slices provolone cheese (about 6 ounces)
3/4 pound whole-wheat Italian bread, cut into 6 pieces and sliced in half horizontally Pepperoncini
Make It:
1. Form ground sirloin into 6 equal-size patties and refrigerate.
2. Heat olive oil in a large nonstick skillet. Add onion and cook 5 minutes over medium
heat, stirring occasionally. Add pepper and mushrooms and cook an additional 4 to 5 minutes or until tender.
3. Heat gas grill to medium-high or coals in a charcoal grill to medium-hot. Lightly coat grill rack with oil or cooking spray
4. Grill burgers for 3 minutes per side, covered, or until internal temperature registers 160 degrees F on an instant-read thermometer. Turn off heat and place 2 slices of cheese on
top of each burger. Cover and wait a few minutes until cheese melts.
5. Place burgers on Italian bread with onion and mushroom mixture spooned over top. Serve with pepperoncini, if desired.
