An Old Window Turned New
Today I am linking up with two great Monday parties! Jen at Craft-o-Maniac and Tiffany at Making the World cuter! They both have great ideas so take some time to stop by and check them out! Not to mention there are tons of other great crafts being shared with today's parties!
My husband and I have about 20 old window frames sitting in the garage and I thought it would be great to use one to help decorate an empty wall in a bedroom. I started with a plain wood window frame. I painted it a metallic turquoise to match one of the colors in the bedspread. I purchased a wooden letter from Michael's, using scrap booking paper and accessories I decorated the letter. Finally I used scrap booking supplies to decorate the remaining window panels. Now my step daughter has a great, unique decorative wall piece above her bed. Bye-bye boring plain wall!
